One point is not the whole picture
This check runs a single search from the business's own location. Customers search from everywhere else. In the scan on our home page, a business that ranks well near its address does not appear at all in the northern 40% of its own service area.
The Local Rank Tracker repeats the search from a grid of points and returns the average rank, map-pack share, competitors and a heat map, from $0.25 per keyword.
How the check works
We look the business up on Google Maps, then run your search from its coordinates at a neighborhood zoom level, the way a nearby customer on a phone would. Sponsored results are not counted. We don't store the names or searches you enter.
